ABSTRAK
Bencana alam merupakan fenomena yang tidak dapat dihindari, namun dampaknya dapat diminimalkan melalui upaya mitigasi yang tepat dan penyaluran bantuan yang terorganisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah prototipe website crowdfunding yang difokuskan pada penyaluran bantuan korban bencana alam di Indonesia. Crowdfunding, sebagai mekanisme penggalangan dana yang efektif, memungkinkan individu dan organisasi untuk memberikan kontribusi finansial kepada korban bencana. Di Indonesia, platform crowdfunding seperti KitaBisa telah terbukti efektif dalam mengumpulkan dana untuk berbagai tujuan kemanusiaan. Namun, tantangan terkait transparansi, pengelolaan data, dan kepercayaan publik masih perlu diatasi. Prototipe website yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini tidak hanya memfokuskan pada penggalangan dana, tetapi juga menyediakan informasi terkait dengan setiap kampanye, serta berita dan update terkini mengenai bencana alam yang sedang terjadi. Platform ini dirancang untuk memberikan laporan akuntabel mengenai distribusi dana, dengan tujuan meningkatkan transparansi dan kepercayaan publik dalam proses penyaluran bantuan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mencakup tahapan pengembangan sistem, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data, analisis, dan pemodelan berdasarkan referensi dari platform crowdfunding yang sudah ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam menciptakan mekanisme bantuan yang lebih efektif, terorganisir, dan dapat dipercaya, yang akan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam aksi kemanusiaan di Indonesia.
ABSTRACT
Natural disasters are unavoidable phenomena, but their impacts can be minimized through proper mitigation efforts and organized aid distribution. This study aims to design a prototype crowdfunding website focused on distributing aid to disaster victims in Indonesia. Crowdfunding, as an effective fundraising mechanism, allows individuals and organizations to contribute financially to disaster victims. In Indonesia, crowdfunding platforms such as KitaBisa have proven effective in raising funds for various humanitarian purposes. However, challenges related to transparency, data management, and public trust still need to be addressed. The prototype website designed in this study not only focuses on fundraising but also provides information related to each campaign, along with news and updates on current natural disasters. The platform is designed to provide accountable reports on fund distribution, with the goal of enhancing transparency and public trust in the aid distribution process. Additionally, this research includes system development stages, which involve data collection, analysis, and modeling based on existing crowdfunding platform references. The outcomes of this study are expected to contribute to creating a more effective, organized, and trustworthy aid mechanism, which will increase community participation in humanitarian actions in Indonesia.
